主 讲 人:明尼苏达大学 Jeong-Hyun Cho教授

报告人简介:

Jeong-Hyun Cho received a B.S. degree in control and instrument engineering from Hoseo University, South Korea, in 2001. He received his M.S. degree in engineering and his Ph.D. in engineering science from Washington State University, Pullman, USA, in 2004 and 2007, respectively. He worked at The Johns Hopkins University from 2008 to 2010 and in The Center for Integrated Nanotechnologies at the Los Alamos National Laboratory from 2010 to 2013 as a postdoctoral researcher. He is currently an assistant professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, where he has been working on the development of 3D multifunctional micro and nanostructures for devices and sensors, using a self-assembly strategy. Professor Cho has been awarded a prestigious 2015 Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Award from the National Science Foundation (NSF). He has also received several awards including the Achievement Award at the Los Alamos National Laboratory in 2011.
